What is a cashback trick
Posted on November 1, 2007
Okay so you have probably found my blog from my friends websites who are kind enough to link to me and I want to welcome you all!
So what exactly is a cashback trick? Put quite simply, it is the process of making money out of a cashback scheme, whether it be an online affiliate scheme or a credit card facility which offers you cashback on each purchase you make.
The top trick that most people generally know is to make all your payments for a month on a credit card which comes with cash back. So next time you go to pay for that weekly shop or pay a utlitity bill, put the cash in a high interest savers account (with instant access preferably) and then pay the bill on your card. You will earn a percentage back from your credit card and you can pay it off at the end of the month with the money you put away. Not only do you benefit from the card money back process but also you earn interest on the money you put into the bank. Basically if you manage your money properly then this is a no-loose situation. However if you pay the bills on your card and fail to put the actual cash into a bank account then you may be unable to pay the card at the end of the month and therefore get hit with interest charges and penalties so play carefully.
Next blog post I will discuss another cashback trick. Remember, looks after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves!
